Look after your mental health during Corona Outbreak

150 cases in Italy, 132 cases in Iran, 166 in India and N number of cases every here and there. The media keeps flashing numbers and blaring fear right in front of us.

Whether you turn on your TV, check in your phone or even talk to a friend- they all have one thing in common- The coronavirus.

Somehow this is obvious as the covid-19 is that once-in-the-century kind of a virus. And the effects that it has on us humans is beyond comprehension!

The outbreak is indeed traumatic- physically, emotionally and mentally.

Just yesterday, one of my friends, who’s studying medicine fell remarkably sick. She was running on a high fever. The next morning, she went to get the tests done. Fortunately, she was found negative of Covid-19.

So what was the reason of her sickness?

Well, the reason was stress, baffling question and answers, anxiety and fright.

The other day, one of my friends’ mother had a similar panic attack.

Besides this, wasn’t your heart racing rapidly when you knew your country and your city has a number of positive cases?

Didn’t you want to meet all your friends at once and the stay in quarantine then?

Didn’t that last meeting felt like a long good-bye?
